How to write and run a simple C# program without Visual Studio
Hello world....
I am new to C# and the whole visual studio.
I have Visual Studio installed on my home PC but my Atom Netbook is way below minimum requirements to run Visual Studio.
I need a very simple and light alternative to Visual Studio program to run on my small netbook while I am on the go to develop simple C# ideas.
I simply need to be able to write C# code on the NotePad and then simply run it on the fly. Nothing more....
Any ideas?

Just let you know that I discovered a very light app that can do the job.....It is called SharpDevelop, a free IDE for C#, VB.NET
