Windows restart code from within VB.Net app

Asked by JimToGo in Microsoft Visual Basic.Net

Tags: restart, code, windows

Hello Experts,

I have an application that captures images from a digital camera.  If the connecton is lost during the transfer of the image it causes the WIA service to crash.  I have set the service to restart, but it takes about 45 secs to a minute to do that.  I thinking about having the laptop restart when that scenario happens.  I will also need to pass a code that will launch the app when it restarts.  Start Free Trial
