Is there an ascii value for the check mark character? When displaying text on a form, I would like to show the check mark as a character on a line of text, but I'm having no luck. The closest thing I could find on an ascii chart was code 251, but when I try using chr(251), my screen shows some type of lower-case 'u' with a halo over it!
Obviously vb has a way of displaying a check mark, like it does when you click on a check box control on a form. How can I tell it to display that same character in a line of text?

I'd like to have the option of using it most anywhere, just like any other character, so that I can use it in the text for a label, or in the text as part of a messagebox.show, etc. In other words, IF it can be displayed just like any other character, such as A-Z, or 0-9, or @#$%^&*, etc. I need to know how to do so.
Or, is it not that easy???...like maybe is the check mark some type of graphic, rather than an ascii character?
