Browse All TopicsI'm using a sql select in VB 2005 to retrieve a DateTime field from a SQL Database.
The value comes back like this in Query Analyzer:
2007-02-21 20:24:40.983
Is there a compatible data type in VB to hold this value in this format?
My program updates a table that has this last_updated column. I need to also update a related table with the same value dwon to the millisecond.
I can't get my VB select command to retrieve this in the same format, it populates in my string or datatime variables like this:
"2/21/2007 9:48:56 PM"
I tried using a string to hold this value and then this command:
LastUpdated = LastUpdated.ToString("yyyy
I get this error though - "Unable to cast object of type 'System.String' to type 'System.IFormatProvider'."
Please help.
Thanks,
