I need to return substrings from a comma delimited line of a text file.

I need to return substrings from a comma delimited line of a text file.

I am using objStreamReader.ReadLine to return the entire line.

This is what the line looks like.

ABIX,06/07/2007,11.36,11.47,11.17,11.24,9656

A function that parses the string and returns the substring found at each delimiter  (,) would be useful.
There are always 7 substrings. Substring widths will vary.

I have written similar functions in the past but have forgotten the details.

Can you point me to documentation?

I was hoping that there would be a string parsing function for the ReadLine method.
