I wrote a quick demo app so I could work on a solution.... and guess what... I can't get it to do that!
I've using Visual Basic 2005... a Windows Form application, with just a panel and a picturebox... When I loose focus or move to another app, everything is exactly where I left it upon return to the app.
So, I suspect you're not using VB.Net 2005?

So you need a way to "remember" where the image was located relative to the panel. when focus is lost.. and then move the image back to that location when focus is restored?
Is that it?
