The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. VB.net n-tier OO design

The N-tier OO solution lead me down a path with many more questions.....so you may like to read this before offering solutions here...thanx

My Form has Controls
* CompanyID - label
* CompanyName - textbox
* WebAddress - textbox
* AccountManagerID_Data - combobox
* AccountManagerID_Voice - combobox
* AccountManagerID_Maintenance - combobox
* AccountManagerID_Carriage - combobox
* CreatedBy - label
* CreatedDate - label
* ModifiedBy - label
* ModifiedDate - label
 
My Company Business Object exposes Properties as follows
* CompanyID - Integer
* CompanyName -string
* WebAddress - string
* AccountManagerID_Data - integer
* AccountManagerID_Voice - integer
* AccountManagerID_Maintenance - integer
* AccountManagerID_Carriage - integer
* CreatedBy - integer
* CreatedDate - date
* ModifiedBy -  - integer
* ModifiedDate - date

On Form_Load I want to:
* Populate the comboboxes with a list of all AccountManager names (underlying value is ID) so I'm assuming I will need to create an Accountmanger Object that returns a collection of Accmanagers
* create an Instance of my Company Object and map the property values to the controls on my form.
(Ideally I'd like to make all calls to retrieve data asyncronously)

However, I'm not sure how I would map the AccountManager ID to a combobox.....My comboboxes contain Names, my CompanyObject ID's
