With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? I am importing an excel spread sheet into a dataset.

One of the columns is being marked as a system.double.  The problem is one of the cells within the column has the little green triangle and is text format in this column even though the cell contains digits i end up getting a system null in the cell.

what can i do to insure i get the value.
