How to use ThreadPool in VB.NET

I am creating a windows application in VB.NET 2005

I want to call a function each 6 seconds until i say stop...
again i want to call this same function with dirrrent parameters each 10 seconds until i say stop..
then again i want to call this same function with dirrrent parameters each 6 seconds until i say stop..

after 1/2 hour i want to Kill 2nd process..

how can we do? please provide sample code because i am beginner to Threading..
