Web service compatible with VB.net 1.1 VS 2003

Hello Experts.
Anyone know of a web service I can use for learning/testing that is compatible with VB.net 1.1 VS 2003?
Obviously I can write my own and host it locally, but I'd rather bang on a remote web service that I can access in a real world manner.

The simpler the better.
