Clear datasource from Combobox

Asked by running32 in Microsoft Visual Basic.Net

I am trying set the datasource to nothing so that no contents are displayed in the combobox until the user clicks on it.

I used ComboBox3.DataSource = Nothing and ComboBox3.Items.Clear() but the first record is still showing.
