Hi,

Having this error problem in my error handler, hope you can help!!
'GoTo 70' is not valid because '70' is inside a 'For' or 'For Each' statement that does not contain this statement.

We are basically scanning through our old DB tables and converting to a new table in anohter DB location. However, if the Table name doesn't exist in the new DB, then it goes to error handler.

Here we want to clear error and resume 70 (i.e. the next table in the DB), thus missing out all the code between the error handler call point and the Next tblOld

Does anyone know how to get around this??

FYIO : This is legacy code from our scanning thru classic ADO recordsets.

For Each tblOld In dsOldTables.Tables 
    ' other bits of code
      ssql = "SELECT * FROM " & tblOld.TableName 
      daNewTable = New System.Data.SqlClient.SqlDataAdapter(ssql, cnnSQL)

70: Next tblOld
 
And Error Handler looks like this
 
'If Table doesn't exist in new database
If Err.Number = XXXX Then
Err.Clear()                    
Resume 70 '- This is where I get build error
End if
