How do I change / edit tag "listOnLeft" based on the user name?

Hi Shauli,

You have two times "listOnLeft" on the xml file. You want to change in both ?

This will change only the first one:

        Dim xmlDoc As New Xml.XmlDocument
        Dim xmlPath As String = "c:\myXML.xml"
        xmlDoc.Load(xmlPath)
        Dim node As Xml.XmlNode = xmlDoc.SelectSingleNode("//listOpenOnly") 
        node.InnerText = "NewTex"

Thanks, however that is my question: How can I change only ONE, based on the user name (tag <userName name="User 1" active="0">)

This is for name = "User 1"

You just need to change it to your tag

Ok, of couse that you have to change the SelectSingleNode search string :)

Also you can check if it found, to avoid unwanted errors (check the snippet)
