how to get multiple seleted items count in listbox items...if the count value more than 5 means is wont work...

You'll need to loop through each item in the listbox and check if it's selected.  Something like the following:

Dim intSelectedCount as Integer = 0
For Each item As ListItem In ListBox1.Items 
    
    
    If item.Selected Then 
        
        
        intSelectedCount += 1
        
        
    End If 
Next

Then after that, you'll check the value of intSelectedCount... and if it's more than 5 don't run the code and give a warning on page why.  If it's less than five, do your thing.
