Yeah the connection is fine, because the report shows results if I use the table as the source, but when I use a stored procedure (whose query works fine if you run it as is), the report does not show the data at all.

I want to create a report using the built-in report tools in Visual Studio 2008 (Not crystal). I use the report viewer to display the report that I am generating. It works fine if I generate the report and fill the dataset with a table, but if I try to do the same via the wizard, using a stored procedure, the report viewer shows nothing when the application is run.
I'm new to reports so is there something extra that needs to be done when populating a report via a stored procedure?
Thank you
