how to extend a richtextbox in vb.net

when i have a richtextbox with a button at the bottom of it .
what i want to do :
when i click on the botton the richtextbox has anothe part (extend) from the buttom and then anothe text will appear.

Can you clarify what you mean by "extend"? I'm unclear whether you want a box to pop up from the button  (and maybe disappear after a certain period of time), whether you want the first text box to get bigger, or whether you want a second rich text box to appear under the first.

You increment the size of the box. Just add to the height property. Also remember to add to the height property of the button itself.
