Browse All TopicsHi experts,
I have a Windows application (VB.NET 2.0 with Krypton Toolkit and Enterprise Library) which sporadically crashes, producing two errors (shown in the code snippet). I have tried in vain to find an answer online and cannot reproduce the error - it seems to happen with users at different times on different forms so there does not appear to be any pattern.
Please take a look at the stack traces below; any suggestions would be appreciated.

The problem really appears to be in the Krypton Library and OUT OF YOUR CONTROL. There most likely isn't anything you're doing wrong...
In the stack trace there is:
System.Drawing.Icon.Initia
They are probably recreating an Icon in response to some message and not releasing the previous pointer to the existing Icon.

Looks like a bug in KryptonTextBox to me. It's probably creating window handles and not properly disposing of them.
(not sure why though)
Are there any newer versions of the controls?...
