DragDrop multiple buttons.

I have single button dragdrop working using a custom dataobject (below). I want to do multiple buttons. Thanks for the help.

So create an ArrayList or List(Of Something), add all the buttons to it, and set that as the Data with a different custom name as the DataFormat.  Then you just cast it back out and do something with all the buttons inside the list...

Yeah, I put the buttons in a List(Of T) with the mousedown - not allowing dupicates, This is in the mousemove:
  DoDragDrop(moveList, DragDropEffects.Move) ' no error but don't know that this works
moveList being the List(Of SplitButton)

That must not be working cause my DragDrop is not firing.

Create a DataObject and add the List to that:

        Dim ButtonList As New List(Of Button)
        ' add the buttons...
        Dim MyData As New DataObject
        MyData.SetData("ButtonList", ButtonList)
        XXX.DoDragDrop(MyData, DragDropEffects.Move)

Ok, the drag is working with this in the mousemove:

Dim d As New DataObject("myList", moveList)
DoDragDrop(d, DragDropEffects.Move)

This is working:
If e.Data.GetDataPresent("myList") Then

the thing is when these buttons leave the FlowLayoutPanel they do not trigger the ControlRemoved event which I need. I need a workaround for this now.

They won't leave the FlowLayoutPanel until you actually remove them or add them to another Container.  During the drag operation you are simply passing a Reference to them around...

Well that's what I mean when they are added to the new container they don't cause this event to fire - I have some important code I need to execute and it never gets triggered, but I found a way to forced them to, so all is well. Thanks for the help.
