I' am using DGV class. It  subclass DataGridView and uses DataGridViewRow.ErrorText  to show the exception / Validation errors.

I'am using also a DgvTextBoxCol class to support TextBox AutoCompleteStringCollection and CharacterCasing. This is a good alternative to ComboBox (DataGridViewComboboxColum).

The combobox is not a confortable user option. It requires mouse action.

I missing the Autocomplete Function.

'<System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Extension()> _
Sub Autocomplete(ByVal Tb As TextBox, ByVal Ac As AutoCompleteStringCollection)
    If Ac Is Nothing Then
        Tb.AutoCompleteMode = Windows.Forms.AutoCompleteMode.None
        Tb.AutoCompleteSource = Windows.Forms.AutoCompleteSource.None
        Tb.AutoCompleteCustomSource = Nothing
    Else
       Tb.AutoCompleteMode = Windows.Forms.AutoCompleteMode.Suggest
       Tb.AutoCompleteSource = Windows.Forms.AutoCompleteSource.CustomSource
       Tb.AutoCompleteCustomSource = Ac
    End If
End Sub
