You posted this in the VB and C# sections, so I don't know what you want your code in (or if you care which language, heh)
Anyways, you could use the "Get" method to get the value associated with a given key. If the specified key isn't within the NameValueCollection, it will just return null. So I would implement whatever it is you're trying to do like this in C# (where nvc is the name of your NameValueCollection instance):
String value = nvc.Get("Key to look for");
if(value == null)
{
// Key wasn't found
}
And I think it would look like this in VB.NET (though I never use VB, for good reason):
Dim value As String = nvc.Get("Key to look for")
If(value Is Nothing) Then
'Key wasn't found
End If
I stored the result beforehand in order to avoid searching for the key twice, as every time you search, you're "wasting" valuable time.
Hope it helps,
Nate
