Black shadows for icons on ListView - Transparency Issue - When using SHGetFileInfo

Hi fellow Xperts!
I'm trying to populate a listview control with files selected by the user. The application will use
SHGetFileInfo Interop routine to get its native windows icon. But when I try to use the same, I get a black shadowy background(Check out the attached image) even though my ImageList is set to TransparentColor: Transparent. I use the basic mechanism as given by MSDN example: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319350
I tried converting the Icon to a bitmap image, but still it doesnt seem to work.
