Ned to make an up arrow button and down arrow button image

Asked by newbieweb in Microsoft Visual C#.Net

I need to create image files that I can display on buttons: an up arrow and a down arrow.

Can someone tell me how to do this?  What file type do I use?  How do I import them into the project?  What dimensions whould they be?  They are each small buttons.
