RegisterStartupScript not working in C# line.

Dear Experts,

I'm trying to call ASP Button where Smooth Panel Update is active, any idea why this is not working?
 
ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), "TriggerAlert", "<script>document.getElementById('btnToPrint').click();</script>");

Hi there. In your script you are using the client ID of 'btnToPrint'. Run your page and check the ID that ASP.NET is rendering. If your button is nested in other containers, ASP.NET will rename it. ASP.NET offers the ClientID property to get the ID that is rendered in the page. Let me know what you find.

If I remove the SmoothPanelUpdate it works without changing the code.

Hi there. Try keeping the SmoothPanelUpdate and modify your code like this:

ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), "TriggerAlert", "<script>document.getElementById('" + btnToPrint.ClientID + "').click();</script>");

This assumes that btnToPrint is an ASP.NET button control.

Still nothing happened. btnToPrint is an ASP.NET control.

I'm the 3rd party page that makes it impossible for you to open without giving all the Libs but anyway this this the code:

Using ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript instead of ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript solved my Issue.
