I have been looking into MAPI and WebDAV, but I have been unable to determine what is the industry standard for reading email programmatically using C#.
Can anyone out there throw some light here?

What do you mean by reading email using C#? What are you trying to do? Are you trying to actually receive incoming email? Get it out of an Exchange Server to do something with it?
