I have to change the encoding from ASCII to UTF8 (as the XmlWriter) in order to get it work.
The first line of the XML that I get is with question marks:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
Is this an error?
I have the following method which serialize the xmlData object and write the XML result to file.
I need to change this method to get the XML result as a string (not to file) in order to store it in Access DB.
How can I do this?

So instead of using a FileStream, why not use a MemoryStream? Then you can grab the string from the bytes created in MS:
