Unable to pass String value by parameter ( from one page to another page)

Hi, I am having problem of passing String value by parameter, I used the same code to pass Interger value, so i can guess there is something i will have to change to pass STring value
but dont know where, please advise me,

here is the code and i have attached problem pictues:


Problem in this code, its taking STring value L1name

i also tryed your solution, but its saying:
