Browse All TopicsI just installed VS 2008. I have my server mapped through My Computer on windows XP as my X: Drive. When I work on a page I get this warning below.
ASP.NET runtime error: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad3
Why is this happening and how can I get rid of this warning?
I think this warning is causing this error: The name (control name) does not exist in the current context.
(Writing in ASP .NET 2.0 with c#)
All worked in VS 2005.
Thanks

Just a stab in the dark,
Try removing the reference to system.web.extensions and in your project and then adding it again, it might clear the problem.
