Make Visual Studio write readable and workable HTML-code

How can Visual Studio be forced to create readable and workable HTML-code, in the sense that it for example formats <table> elements in a readable way. (see code snippet).

I thought VS was meant to save time, not to cost extra time by creating HTML that looks like good-old Frontpage.

You can Format The HTML Document by Selecting Format Document from the Edit menu...
Edit->Advanced->Format Document

Alternativley you can use the key combinations (ctrl+E,ctrl+D)

In combination with information from http://stackoverflow.com/questions/895790/why-does-visual-studios-format-document-tool-put-heading-tags-over-two-lines I was able to fill my desires for a large part. Thanks.
