yes, its the same folder. another thing is the folder which is being pointed has already been deleted.

Browse All TopicsI am debugging an ASP.Net application with C#. I have insert a breakpoint. but when i debug it never stops at the breakpoint. Error which comes show a reference to the file (.cs) at an older location which no longer exist. Is there cache or memory problem that visual studio is refering to a wrong location?

Are you opening your project from a shortcut?
check where it points.
Also if you can find the VSWEBCache folder delete that, This folder was used by 2003 to store cache of projects. even we have seen this in our 2005 projects.
Location : c:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\VSWebC
Other things you can check..
1. Confirm your project is running in Debug mode not in Release. (Can Check in Configuration Manager Displayed after Right Click on Project)
2. Right click on project in VS2008, Clean Solution and then re build it. (Check for Errors)
3. Are you Connected to VSS or any sourcesafe software?

Have you check if you're opening the correct application folder? Could be same application but point to other folder? Please check about it.
