Restart Microsoft Visual Studio 2005

I'm developing reports in an existing project using crystal reports which is integrated with visual studio. My visual studio version is 2005 and I have not installed SP1.

Whenever I open two or more reports at a time for copying titles into the new report OR when I format a group of fields in the report, I get an error saying:

microsoft visual studio has encountered a problem. It needs to close.
with a restart visual studio checkbox.
