here is a simple method that works.  Print the doc.  When the print screen comes up click the "Print to file" this will print to a postscript file.  Open this up with Ghostscript and Gview.  Using these FREE programs you can save to pdf.

OR

You can buy a addin  for Word that allows word to act just like acrobat.  I cant remember the name of the company that sells the addin or the name of the addin.  I will have to look when i get home.  send me some email and i will give you the name if you are interested.

if u get/have acrobat writer, it installs a printer that will save it to a pdf file, so if you print (in word) to this printer, that will save it in a file, and you will have it easilly!

take care!

It's time to clean up this topic area and that means taking care of this question. You have asked 43 questions within this forum, zhlu, and only closed 4 of them.  I will update each of them so you are notified by Email and can navigate to all of them to update them with comments if more is needed and/or award them for help given, as applicable.

Your options, zhlu, at this point are.

1. Award points to the Expert who provided an answer, or who helped you most. Do this by clicking on the "Accept Comment as Answer" button that lies above and to the right of the appropriate expert's name.

2. PAQ the question because the information might be useful to others, but was not useful to you. To use this option, you must state why the question is no longer useful to you, and the experts need to let me know if they feel that you're being unfair.

3.  Ask Community Support to help split points between participating experts.  Just comment here with details.

4.  Delete the question because it is of no value to you or to anyone else.  To use this option, you must state why the question is no longer useful to you, and the experts need to let me know if they feel that you're being unfair.

If you elect for option 2, 3 or 4, just post comment with details here and I'll take it from there.  We also request that you review any other open questions you might have and update/close them.  Display all your question history from your Member Profile to view details.

PLEASE DO NOT AWARD THE POINTS TO ME.

Hi Experts:

In the event that the Asker does not respond, I would very much appreciate your opinions as to which Expert ought to receive points (if any) as a result of this question.  Likewise, you can also suggest that I PAQ or delete the question.

Experts, please do not add further "answer" information to this question.  I will be back in about one week to finalize this question.

Thank you everyone.

zhlu....  you have asked 38 questions within Expert Exchange, but only closed 7 of them.  PLEASE update all your open questions with comments if more is needed, or award and close them for help provided and award the expert(s) who helped I will be monitoring all of them to ensure they are brought to completion, we're here to help you achieve your goal, but you are integral to this process.  If you need help in any of them and wish to award more than expert, post a zero point question in Community Support, include the link to the specific question you wish help on and details on how you wish to split points.

Your responsiveness is important and appreciated.

This question was LOCKED with a PROPOSED ANSWER and awaits your decision today.  Once a question is LOCKED with a Proposed Answer, few new experts will step in to help on that question, since the assumption is, you've been helped.  If the Proposed Answer helped you, please accept it and award that expert.  If it did not help you, please reject it and add comments as to status and what else is needed.

If you wish to award multiple experts, just comment here with detail, I'll respond as soon as possible.  As it stands today, you asked the question, got help and not one expert was awarded for the contribution(s) made.  Your response is needed.  I'll monitor through month end, and if you've not returned to complete this, we'll need to decide.  Expert input is welcome (as always) to determine the outcome here if the Asker does not respond.

Your response in finalizing this (and ALL) your question(s) is appreciated.

whats with the grade of C.  If you didn't like my answer you should have waited for a better one OR given it to someone else.  A grade of C looks bad.  I will never answer your questions again.
