How can I take a flot number like 8.000000 and display only 8.00
I am wanting to know how can I make the number display 8.00 instead of 8.000000 when I am using double or flots.Thank you.

printf( "%.2f\n", 8.0);
should print 8.0 ( a float value or double value) with 2 decimal places.
Note that printf() convert all float values to double before placing the parameters in the parameter list of printf() so it doesn't make a difference if you use float or double and the 'f' in the format is not f as in float but rather f as in fixed. Another format would be the 'e' format which shows a number with exponent, for example 103.0 might display as 1.03e+2.
