some simple puzzles...

Hi,
this morning didnt have much to do, so thought of (mis)using my question points.
couple of puzzles of easy/medium difficulty. 100 points each.

1. Given a singly linked list. I have a pointer to a node in the list, somewhere in the midddle..I wish to delete that node...I dont have pointer to any of the nodes preceding it.. not even have to the head.
Points to first one, who comes up with most effiecient solution, if possible OR prooves its impossibility.

2. given a sequence S of numbers whose values range from 1 to n-1, not necessarily sorted. One of these numbers repeats itself once in the sequence. (Examples: {1 2 3 4 5 6 3}, {4 2 1 2 3 6 5}).
give an algorithm that finds this repeating number using a constant amount of memory.

3. Given a sequence of "integers" {I0...Ij...Ik...In}
Give algorithm to find j and k, so that Ij...Ik is a subsequence of {I0...In} and sum from Ij...Ik is maximum possible..
(e.g. if all are positive integers it should give j=0, k=n...OR.. all are negative except last, j=n,k=n..so on)

4. Recently a problem was discussed ..to detect a possible loop in a singly linked list.. my question is an extension to it..
given that there is a loop ( last node is pointing to some node in the list instead of NULL)...
Give an algorithm to remove the loop.

5. Reverse the words in a sentence, i.e. "this is a puzzle" becomes "puzzle a is this"..
try to optimize for speed and space
