bits in C, bitmask, bit tricks

Hello,
do you know some good link which could give be good basis about bit tricks in C++? With lots of examples?
I know what bit operators do (this is redundant info for me later). I need to figure out their common uses, and their smart but tricky uses.
I will most appreciate link with lots of good commented source codes (full of bit tricks)
