[C] How to write a good makefile

Hi!

I'm looking for write a make file...

I tried to do it after reading different tutorial, but it doesn't work properly...

My makefile had to use gcc and at least the flag -Wall and -Werror
when you use make OS=solaris it have to produce in output the file 'server'
when you use OS=cygwin it have to produce the file 'server.exe'

so... i'm in this situation:

so i have also the file lista.h and helper.h and helper.c

i did this makefile, but i think something is wrong because it gives me error 1 at the end.
(it compile without errors if i use Xcode, it gives me only some warnings, but i works great)

What i have to change in the makefile? (i'm on mac... is it a problem?)
