Change positions of bits

Hello everybody!
I want to do somewhat a mirror effect on the following bit sequence: 0111 1000. This should be mirrored to the following: 0001 1110.

See the code example below. I want b to hold the value 0x1e.

My question is, how? I want the "mirror" to be somewhat generic so its not just specificly for this sequence!Start Free Trial
