Translating a math equation into a C function (2)

Hi,

Similar to the question I just asked, I need help translating the second formula titled "The inverse formulas are " into a function which uses the C library routines:

    http://mathworld.wolfram.com/MercatorProjection.html

It has an extra step it looks like using something called the 'Gudermannian'.

Yeah just as background, I'm trying to make a little mobile phone mapping system which I will publish for free once done, this stuff is kinda annoying.
