  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Reverse String???

Hello all!
I'm still a beginner in C/C++ actually just started and wanted to ask you a question...

My questions is how to reverse a string by using C++ in DOS???

In Delphi(Pascal) I'd do something like this...
//Pascal is not case sensitive. o O
//The function returns a string
function Reverse(DaStr : String):string;
var
  i : Integer;
  str : string;
begin
  str := '';
  for i := 0 to Length(DaStr) do
    str := DaStr[i] + str;
  Result := str;
end;
Example call: Reverse('Hello'); would return olleH
I tried something like this in C++
----------------
char *reverse(char *str){
      int i = 0;
      char *st = str;
      int len = strlen(st);
      for(;i < len; i++){
            str[i] = st[len-1-i];
      }
      return str;
};
//It doesn't work, though.
----------------
Anyone can show me how to do that in C++ using DOS?
