Using C only, how can we write a library function which removes all negative numbers from a char buffer of a given length and returns the number of non-negative elements.

The function has the following signature:
unsigned int ui_stripNegativeFromBuffer(char *pc_buf, unsigned int ui_bufLen)

The following sample code shows how it may be used:
char pc_InitializedBuffer[] = { 6, 2, 3, -1, -4, 5 };

main()
{
unsigned int ui_newLength;

ui_newLength= ui_stripNegativeFromBuffer(pc_InitializedBuffer, 6);

/* ui_newLength is now 4 and the content of the first 4 elements of pc_InitializedBuffer[] = { 6, 2, 3, 5 } */
