In your project options:
in the Linker-tab, deselect 'Use dynamic RTL'
and
in the Packages-tab, deselect 'Build with Runtime packages'
This way, you need nothing but the .exe-file.

Is there a way to know EXACTLY which bpl-s and dll-s my application needs to work on a computer on which there are no BCB5 components installed previously; or is there something analogue to the VB runtime environment.
Thanks

1. Method 1
„« Open a project, then under Project/Options/Linker. Click Linker tab and UNCHECK ¡§Use dynamic RTL¡¨ option;
„« Click Packages tab and UNCHECK ¡§Build with runtime packages¡¨.
„« Build the application again.
2. Method 2
„« Keep the ¡§Use dynamic RTL¡¨ and ¡§Build with runtime packages¡¨ CHECKED mentioned in the Method I.
„« Rebuild the application, which produces a *.exe file.
„« Use Depends (a freeware that tracks down all the dynamic libraries that your application uses).
„« Ship all the libraries obtained in step 3 with the application when distributing it.
„« Use Inno Setup (a freeware) to create an installation file for the application. Inno Setup can even do the registration when needed.
