Browse All TopicsTitle pretty much states it all. I'm trying to figure out how to decompile a binary .res file into a textual format. The .res file is nothing but a string table. So I need to figure out the string ID's and the Text. I've got documentation on the .res file format, but when trying to apply it to the .res file it doesn't make to much sense. The padding and all that junk just don't seem to fit the documentation. Was wondering if anyone out there knows how to do this. I've seen 3rd party software that can take a binary .res file and display it's contents in a textual format but every single one of them says not to e-mail the creator for source-code cause they wont give it out. PLEASE HELP!!! I've been tryign to figure this out for a month now and i've down to only a few whisps of hair on my head due to frustration. PLEASE HELP!!!! THIS IS URGENT!!!! Thank you for your time
