why there is compilation error????
i am giving the error found in VC++

question1: what is the meaning of the first error???? have i done anywhere wrong in this program..... i want to find out my error.

you encounter the error is because you are trying to pass in an array but then the function prototype is an int. The definition header is of an array! They do not match. You get the warning because your prototype returns a void but then the definition returns an integer (without any is by default int).

Well, we can help to do homework, but it is not allowed to do it completely. Student who need to do the homework should try to write some code and ask here if there are specific problems.
Change program by by the following way:

this SMALL CODE is not a homework......i wrote this to test how the array passing can be done and how it can change the value . but i was stumbled to see the error.... i could not debug it.....thats why i emphasised
why there is error ????i wrote question1 and question2 to make you feel where exactly i have the problem........
