Browse All TopicsHello! In emacs, you can set it so that when programming in C++, if you press tab, it will take the current line and reposition the code so that it is properly indented with the rest of the code.
In Eclipse, when programming in Java, and using the Java perspective, this can also be done by ctrl-i. Its a great feature, and I use it often. When I program, I want to think about the algorithm I am producing, not properly indenting the code, and worse yet, often when I take code programmed in linux to a windows machine running eclipse, the indentation of every line is all messed up. I would rather not fix this all manually...
Is there a feature in the C/C++ plugin for eclipse to accomplish this "auto-indent" or "auto-format" or whatever you call it? If not, can I use the Java perspective with the C/C++ code I have and just use ctrl-i?
Thank you for all your help.
