Integer to String

Hi to all
I have a question about C++ and converting integers to strings.
I am using Qt on linux. The problem is in the following statement :

char filename[5];

int rv = system(strcat("./canny_stack ", itoa(filename, 20))); //Problem is here, it gives segmentation fault error.
But if i write as
int rv = system("./canny_stack 20"); //it works
the problem is concatenating strings or I am unable to convert int to string. I checked by printing the result of
itoa(filename, 20) //it worked.
