I don't know whether VC 2003 have different names for the members or not.
But if you are using VC++ 6 then
_MyHead will be _Head
and _MyVal will be _Value
Rest is as said by rstaveley.

and I add

If you don't want to open heaps and heaps of things just to see what you want to see, then consider teaching VS how to display the type you want to see by editing the autoexp.dat file. I don't know how easy it is to do or whether it will seem better to you, but the option is there.
There are a lot of tips for VS here:

This is a really good page too:

If you decide to try the autoexp.dat thing then you might find this helpful:

After doing a bit of research on autoexp.dat (i.e. seeing what other people have been able to configure it to do) I think it might do what you need. Some of the examples I have found are quite useful.
Oooo. And look at this. Conditionals in the autoexp.dat:

If you are using a standard VC 2003 setup, add Symbols to the watch window and Keep clicking those [+] boxes to expand Symbols, and then _MyHead, and then _Next and then _Myval. The std::list implementation is not defined by the standard, which is why you get it implemented with all sorts of weird symbols starting with underscores.
