I have a problem. I want to create a HTTPS tunnel through a proxy server.
I am sending following commands first:
CONNECT IP:443 HTTP/1.1\r\nhost: IP:443\r\n\r\n
if I get back a 200 response I continue with data transfer.
Everything is working on my local proxy and I also tested it on some others but in one network something is not working. As soon as the connection is established it gets dropped. I am not able to find out what is the response from the proxy.
Any ideas?
Thank you for your help
PS: is there any good resource or sample to do HTTP tuneling

Are you allowed to use that proxy ? Are you using the correct port ? (try using it with your web browser for example, and see if it works)
Does the proxy support the CONNECT (HTTP 1.1) method ?
