The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. How to debug a COM dll?

Is it possible to debug a dll that uses shell extension in next way:

I set a breakpoint on a line of code in, for example InvokeCommand function, and when this function was callled, a execution stops, so I can read the variable values? If yes how? What I have already done is: set an explorer as executable for debug session, and I have installed debugging symbols.

Are these two necessary and what else I need to do to achieve what I want?
