How can I compile DDK with mingw under windows?

Hello,
I'm trying to compile DDK via mingw but couldn't find any good example for how to and i really don't know command line for compiling.
Is anyone here knows how can i compile it and will there be any problem can occur because i used mingw?

In short: Forget about that. MinGW uses GCC as the compiler, and in turn GCC uses a library format that is not compatible with the DDK libs that MS provides. You'll be better of with VC++ Express, available for free at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=F3FBB04E-92C2-4701-B4BA-92E26E408569&displaylang=en ("Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Editions with SP1")

Well i checked that mingw it has ddk libs. I also have VS2008 Express edition but couldnt succeed with compiling with it coz im not familiar with guis. Is there any documentation can you suggest for me about mingw's DDK or VS2008's?

Are you maybe confusing SDK and DDK here? A quick Google search (http://www.google.com/search?q=MinGW+DDK) does not really suggest that there is a lot out there that will help you. BTW, VC++ also has a command line interface, just go to 'Tools|Visual Studio Command Prompt'.

No dude :) Mingw has ddk and i'm not confusing the main problem is that i dunno command line arguments for compiling ddk under mingw's gcc.
Thanks i'll check that links.
