Printscreen to BMP programmically

Tags: bmp, image, printscreen, print, screen, c++, bitmap, HBITMAP

I can printscreen and save it to file by using following functions:
CreateCompatibleDC
CreateCompatibleBitmap
BitBlt

Problem is that file is very big: ~1Mb
How can I make it smaller?
