The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Need help with DataView for C# program.

Asked by s2000lover in C# Programming Language

Hello, I have a C# sharp program i'm currently writing. I'm pretty new to the concept of c#. I currently have a one form program that will allow the user to click the toggle button ("Search"). Upon clicking this button the form that i do have will completely clear and let the user type in any field the critria the user might be looking for. There are several problems im running into and i really need to get this done asap for my job. When the user clicks the search button i have it trying to clear txtFName textbox with txtFName.Clear(); but that doesn't get rid of the bound control. I also added txtFName.DataBindings.Clear(); and then had it do the Clear but it still wont get rid of the data it bounds to when the applications is orignally ran. I was able to get the dataView to work but i can't get it to un-filter the results. The dataset name is currently objvwdb and the dataView's name is currently set to dataView. The only textbox i'm currently doing this in is the First Name textbox to get this thing working before i goto the next step of the program design. I really need help and i'm willing to let someone see the source code upon request for help with the problems i'm having. Please help me. Thanks.
